Kraig began working in the financial services industry in 1994 and established KRM Financial Services in 1999. When it comes to serving his clients, Kraig often says that, "God gave us two ears and one mouth for a reason." He believes that listening to each client's unique situation and asking questions to fully understand their needs is the key to ensuring KRM clients receive the highest quality, comprehensive and unbiased financial advice available.

Kraig is a financial educator, helping clients, especially those over age 50, integrate wealth preservation and tax reduction strategies into the financial and investment planning process. His expertise in retirement planning and senior issues has earned him the respect and confidence of retirees and individuals nearing retirement. In his extensive work with middle-aged widows and women experiencing divorce, Kraig understands the challenges and concerns created by unexpected midlife events.

Kraig earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Chemistry and minors in Math and Biology from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S.D. Kraig lives in Geneva, Ill., with his wife Debbie and their four children. He makes family time a priority by coaching various kids' sports and assisting with extracurricular school functions. He enjoys softball, golf, weight training and reading. Kraig has been actively involved with his church, including chairing pastoral call and scholarship committees.

Kraig co-founded The Summit Study Group with the goal of bringing together top business and personal financial advisors from across the country to share their individual expertise and achieve a higher level of personal growth and professional development. This elite wealth planning group hosts semiannual meetings featuring noted speakers who share their insight and knowledge.

Dave came to KRM Financial in April 2007 after working for a large financial services company. Dave's first goal after arriving at KRM was to become a true financial planner. Dave studied for and passed the CFP® exam in late 2007 after completing the rigorous CFP curriculum within just 6 months. Along with furthering his education, Dave has continued to refine his planning skills by working alongside his mentor, Kraig, with clients in the financial planning process from the very start all the way through the implementation and monitoring of clients' financial plans. Dave has earned the respect of all KRM clients who find it convenient that they can call him anytime and get answers to questions and concerns, both simple and complicated in nature.

Dave graduated from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Mich., with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business. Dave now lives in Downers Grove, Ill. Monica joined our team in August 2006. She manages and oversees all areas of the day-to-day operations. Her ability to listen intently combined with her extensive background in customer service provide for a pleasant experience when clients call our office.

Monica is working to obtain her CDFA (Certified Divorce Financial Analyst) certification. Monica's life experiences along with her pursuit of this certification will enable her to both advise and empathize with people going through major life transitions.

Monica lives in St. Charles , Ill. , and has two sons, one attending college and one in the United States Navy. Besides her pride in her sons, appreciation for her family and friends, she enjoys running, reading, and the outdoors.
